Tonight marks the return of a man that many view as perhaps the most talented fighter to grace the sport in recent years. Some love him, more hate him, but whichever side of the fence you reside, we all agree his skills can't be denied.
In Mayweather's return, he'll face a brave Mexican warrior (Juan Manuel Marquez - 50-4-1, 37KO's) whose pursuit of happiness can be found walking the sacred grounds of the Filipino nation. Trouble for Marquez is, he isn't the only one with that vision.
On paper, the intangibles appear to make this an even playing field. The only problem with that?........Paper burns!
On one side we have a former P4P king. On the other, we have a man talented enough, yet has never quite pulled it together to seize the moment.
With all roads leading down one path, in the end, only one can emerge as the 'chosen one'.
