Glen Johnson vs Chad Dawson II
In their initial showdown, fans around the sport found out something they probably should have already known, yet for some odd reason apparently didn't. That something....Glen Johnson (49-12-2, 33KO's) is for real, and his KO of the legendary Roy Jones Jr. was no fluke.
Despite the fact that few around the sports media give him his props, Johnson remains a high level opponent that few others care to tangle with.
After his destruction of Roy Jones Jr., he also defeated Antonio Tarver, and gave Chad Dawson (28-0, 17KO's) the fight of his life in an effort that has many still feeling he was the better man that night.
This evening, he'll get a second chance to right that wrong when he and Dawson enter the ring again.
Dawson is viewed as a P4P contender, and one of the sports rising stars, but a loss to Johnson will clearly change that perception, as well as cast a shadow around the talented Connecticut based contender.
Both men know that a loss today will strongly affect their future in the sport, so you can look to see a clear and concise "Fight of the Year" candidate.
This will be a throwback fight, with the stage set for a classic Oldschool vs New-school vibe.

David Haye vs Nikolai Valuev Preview
After entering the heavyweight ranks roughly a year ago, David Haye has only faced one heavyweight, and depending on who you ask, that one individual (Monte Barrett) was far from the true level of competition he'll face, starting today today with 7ft tall giant, Nikolai Valuev.
Valuev (50-1, 36KO's), age 36, is one of the more intriguing stories in the sport, standing 7ft tall and outweighing traditional heavyweights by an average of 60lbs, at least.
Despite his slow, lumbering approach, his size has given him a considerable edge over most, but never in his career has he faced anyone with the power that British Bulldog David Haye (22-1, 21KO's) will bring to the ring today.
Haye brings the type of flair to the sport that could ultimately attract some of the stragglers from the Tyson and Ali era back to boxing. Not since Mike Tyson has the division seen a KO artist with drawing power.
Haye wants desperately to recapture that audience, and it won't come easy, but a KO victory over the biggest man in the sport may very well cement his effort. As a cruiserweight he was a powerhouse. Can that power translate to the big boys? We're all interested in finding that out. And today, the questions will be answered.
