Beginning today and every weekend thereafter, this blog will feature a charitable organization in New York State or as it does today, one of significant merit in a new feature called Fruitbearers. YouTube flexes its philanthropic muscles today in collaboration with the UN World Food Programme by featuring a video first posted on the 25th of September entitled, "A Billion for a Billion." The premise is simple: There are over one billion people chronically starving in the world. However there are likely that same average of visitors to YouTube everyday. Just one dollar can feed a child right now or 20 dollars may feed his villiage.

To watch the video and donate from your heart any amount from one dollar to 300, visit www.youtube.com/watch .
