After pleading guilty to reckless driving for causing an accident that killed his friend, Andre Bell, Nuggets swingman J.R. Smith will serve 30 days in a Millstone, New Jersey jail.  Smith was originally sentenced to 90 days, but had 60 days of the sentence suspended provided he spend 500 hours of community service aiding hospitalized children.

According to ESPN.com's account, Smith told the court on Tuesday night, "It's been unbearable to deal with.  I am deeply sorry.  I never intended for this to happen.  It tears me up that it went down like that."
