Even though rain is plaguing our weekends here in Baltimore there are still several Maryland garden events that you can enjoy. The activities listed below run regularly through October and some continue into November. Both the Brookside Gardens Conservatory in Wheaton and the Howard Peter Rawlings Conservatory in Baltimore City offer several free displays, talks and lectures. Also, Valley View Farms in Cockeysville offers a children’s pumpkin carving workshop for a small fee. Consult each location’s web site for more details, including directions, parking, and contact information. Remember to check their event calendars for other enrichment activities as all of these locations schedule them regularly.
