Spring is all about colors, and if you’re like anything like me, you can’t get enough of it.  If you’re looking to add a little color to your own palette this spring, try using some purple eyeshadow.  Purple’s a great color for anyone to wear [especially those with brown eyes, it really makes them pop].  You could go for a more grey-tinted purple to create a subtle smoky eye look, or go super bright, neon purple to create a funkier look.  Either way, purple eye makeup seems to be the look for eyes this spring.

But before you run out to the store to find the purple that suits you, there’s something you should see.  Right now, Sephora is offering their newest $120 Color Play Palette for only $22!  That’s an amazing $98 off!  I’m not sure how long this deal is going to last, so you might want to snatch it up soon.  The kit include 36 eyeshadows [including 12 great shades of purple], 12 lip glosses, 3 blushes, bronzer, a blush brush, an eyeshadow applicator, and a double-sided lip brush.  And the best part is, they’re are all paraben-free; meaning they don’t contain the preservatives sometimes added to cosmetics that have been linked to allergic reactions, tumors, and even breast cancer.  It’s also compact, travel-friendly, has a great mirror, and is currently rated a 4.4 out of 5 stars on the Sephora website.  Plus, my wonderful boyfriend bought me an older version of this great little kit for Christmas 2007, and it’s not even close to running out, despite the fact that I use it virtually every day.

Where else can you find all that for under 25 bucks?  Even in most drug stores, $22 will only get you 2 or 3 items.  And at a place like M.A.C, that’s a single item.  Sephora’s a great brand, and if you’re going to drop some of your hard-earned cash on makeup anytime soon, this is definitely something you should consider.  Happy shopping!
