A few years ago Spencer's Gifts decided to but the X back in Xmas and offered some adult themed holiday decorations they dubbed pornaments.
This year, for a very short time, the pornaments made a comeback online until some Florida television stations got hold of the story and gave it air time.
Once again, the churches in the area are not happy with Spencer's peddling "pornaments" in their stores or online. They pornaments are either sold out or withdrawn.
The ornaments are sexually graphic. One ornament has two reindeer and another has a couple of snowmen, and all are in compromising positions.
The box they're sold in calls them "holiday ornaments."
Clint Wilder, the pastor of the Arlington Family Church, organized that protest then. Now, he said he's even more disgusted.
"It's offensive to me. It's highly offensive," Wilder said.
The ornaments cost $10 at Spencer's Gifts. There is a warning on the back of the box now that says they're not intended for children. On the front of the box, it says "for adults only."
"These are pornography," Wilder said. "They should not be in the eyes of children, and they should not be where children shop." Christmas ornaments featuring reindeer and snowmen in sexual positions back on store shelves in Jacksonville, Fla., after a three-year hiatus, a pastor says.
