Diabetes? You'll Love Sugar Free Fridays
Today, March 24, is American Diabetes Association Alert Day, which is no laughing matter. Diabetes is a nasty disease that has many symptoms and side-effects. But that didn't stop White Room for using the idea of Sugar Free as a punchline to its joke. Yeah, you guessed it, there is nothing Diabetes-friendly about this hot spot.
Every Friday, partygoers can drink till they drop while dancing to the DJ all night long in this debauchery-encouraged zone. Drinks are only $4 from 10 p.m. until midnight and you can get a $4 shot special throughout the night.
If you have diabetes, drinking is oh so not a good thing. But if you don't, party it up. Celebrate this Friday the fact that you don't have diabetes, but watch out... those carbs are killer and sugary snacks catch up with you! Also, watch out for the nasty hangover, don't drink and drive and try to avoid any emo kids that may be howling at the moon.
The White Room is located at 1306 N. Miami Ave., Miami. To RSVP, email party@whiteroommiami.com.
