“From the charm of Main Street, U.S.A to the whimsy of Mickey's Toontown, explore eight fantastic "lands" of nostalgia, color and delight. Let your imagination run free in a magic kingdom where life is a fairy tale and dreams really do come true” reads the Disneyland website. No place is this more true than Disneyland Park, an American owned theme park operated by Walt Disney Park and Resort Division of Walt Disney Company.
The Disneyland Park provides you with entertainment from all the different characters including Mickey, Donald and all the other famous Disney characters. There are special opportunities to meet these characters during Character Greetings and you can even spend some one on one time with your favorite characters during a specially planned breakfast, lunch or dinner. Many other characters such as Buzz Lightyear, Darth Vader, Pinocchio or even Captain Jack Sparrow himself may make brief appearances during your visit. So grab your autograph book, pen and camera. Keep them handy because you never know who you will meet.
The Disneyland band has been playing for the park since its commencement and visitors will enjoy various, themed nightly shows many times including stunning fireworks displays. There are various parades that are also held and are a specialty of Disneyland. These parades show the characters marching down the main street of Disneyland as part of a festival.

Ambience: Disneyland vacation has been very popular from its inception. Every year, hundreds of thousands visit “The Happiest Place on Earth.” Ubiquitous cast members are there to serve your every need.
Clientele: Welcoming people of all ages, anyone can come and enjoy this spectacular theme park. Engaging in the different activities depends on your choice and wish, but since its Disneyland there is obviously an emphasis on rides suitable for young children.
Special Tip: If you are celebrating a birthday, anniversary or any other special occasion, make certain to let a cast member know at Guest Services before you enter the park. They will present you with a special button to commemorate your day. As an added bonus, certain cast members may serenade you during your visit while you are wearing the button.
Accommodations: Disneyland has superb hotels within the campus of Disneyland. They range from lavish to budget so every tourist can find a resort within any price range. They are comfortable and perfect for enjoying a relaxing holiday.
