When in Naples, consider staying at the La Playa Beach and Golf Resort. As the name of this luxury resort suggests, it has both a beautiful beach and a gorgeous golf course. Naples is part of the “Paradise Coast” area of Florida, and as such it sports tropical wildlife such as dolphins, manatees, and a great variety of birds. Take the kids to the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, where they can go one of many nature walks such as “CSI – Critter Scene Investigation.” You can also take an Everglades safari with Everglades Excursions.

The city of Las Vegas has worked hard to make itself family-friendly over the past several years and its many themed hotels are as much a luxury vacation destination as anywhere else in America. A few luxury vacation hotels to consider which are perfect for families include: The Mirage which sports a dolphin habitat; Circus Circus with its indoor amusement park; and New York New York Hotel & Casino which even includes Coney Island-style roller coasters plus a replica of the Statue of Liberty.
These are just three luxury vacation spots that your family might enjoy without having to leave the US. Each region in the US has its share of luxury vacation spots that are far enough from home that they feel like you’re getting away from it all, but close enough that you don’t have to spend too much time to get there.
