The Bissell SpotBot is the answer to many pet owners' prayers. Whether you have a puppy who hasn't quite grasped that outside is the bathroom or you find your sensitive-stomached pooch's dinner in an icky pile on the floor, you will love this gadget.
There are three models: the original SpotBot ($134.99), SpotBot ProHeat ($169.99), and SpotBot Pet ($139.99).
The first step is to fill the solution reservoir. When you buy the system, some sample-sized solution is included. You can purchase various types of solution, including the Pet Stain & Odor Formula. Handy lines on the tank indicate how much water and how much solution is need to create the mix - so, no measuring!
After the cleaning solution is mixed, plug it in, and you're ready to tackle any carpet mess. Tip: Keep the solution tank filled even when the machine is not in use so it's ready to go at a moment's notice.
There are two modes on the SpotBot: Manual or Automatic Smart System™.
The Manual selection is great for furniture, stairs, or tight corners. Snap the brush onto the hose, push the Manual button, and squeeze the trigger to apply the solution. Then, scrub the stain with the brush and use the vacuum located on top of the brush to suck the mess into the Collection Tank.
For stains in the middle of the floor, just place the SpotBot on top of it and use the Automatic Smart System™ option. Select Surface Stain or Set-In Stain and let the SpotBot go to work. It sprays, scrubs, and vacuums the mess for you. When it's finished, it will alert you with a recurring beep.
After the mess is clean, empty and rinse the Collection Tank and store the machine for the next use.
You can buy this at any Denver Best Buy, Target, or Walmart as well as online.
Note: The SpotBot is not designed to pick up any messy piles. In the cases of vomit or feces, be sure to pick up as much of the mess as possible before using the SpotBot.
