When walking into Three Dog Bakery in Cherry Creek North, you can't help but have a smile on your face. Everything has a dog theme. Their frequent shopper's program is known as the Good Dog Club, you can shop their "Dogalog" in which they ship items the "World'Rover". The deli cases filled with fresh-baked all-natural goodies all have dog-inspired names, such as the Boston Terrier Cream Pie and the Labrador Loaf.
The store is designed to resemble a human's bakery. Three Dog Bakery is clean, open, and bright. A smiling staff member is ready to greet you and your four-legged companion.
As the world's first full-fuctioning bakery for dogs, the highlight of the store is, of course, the aforementioned deli cases. A sampling of other availble treats include the Basset Bone, Bichon Bar, Boxer Brownies, and Peanut Brindle. Everything looks so delicious, you might second-guess giving it to your dog. From s'mores to pizzas to bagels and cakes, Three Dog Bakery has one of the widest fresh-baked selections available. All the treats are made from all-natural ingredients, and the bakery refuses to add sugar, salt, by-products, chemicals, or artificial preservatives. I prefer to select goodies from the case, but you may also choose to pick out some prepackaged treats to take home or give as gifts.

The bakery also has its own brand of baked dog food. They have a special low-calorie recipe as well as puppy and adult formulas. This food is made with natural ingredients that Three Dog Bakery describes as "close to earth and with names owners can pronounce". Another food option is the Three Dog Bakery Natural Meals Entrée For Dogs, which are sealed packages of wet food with slow-roasted chicken and veggies.
In addition to all their good-for-your-dog foods and treats, Three Dog Bakery has a small, but impressive, product selection. They carry leashes, collars, bowls, and even a little something for your dog's feline roommate.
This delightful store provides a great way to spoil your dog without worrying about the ingredients. Whether you're planning a full-out doggy party or just want to reward your pet with a unique goody, I recommend stopping by one of the two Colorado locations to check this place out for yourself. It just might change the way you "treat" your dog.
