Out and about in Denver? Bring Fido along to these stores.

Of course your dog is allowed in the pet stores, but what about stores made for you? I've created a list of five places in Denver that are happy to see both you and your pooch!

  1. Argonaut Wine and Liquor
You and your dog are welcome to peruse the vast selection available in Denver's largest liquor store (25,000 sq ft of shopping). The new location - which is right next to the old one - is clean, open, and bright. Your pet will receive love and treats from the staff and likely some of the customers, too.

  2. Cry Baby Ranch
Described as a "Western meets anything colorful and cool extravaganza", this dog-friendly store is located in the Larimer Square Area. Get your dog's opinion on the assortment of clothes, accessories, home decor, toys, and gifts.
    1421 Larimer St. | Website
  3. Dazbog Coffee Shop
No Colorado food or beverages establishments can allow dogs inside due to health code regulations. However, Dazbog gladly accepts pets on their patio. So, when the weather is nice, order a cup of coffee or tea and relax in the sun with your canine companion.

  4. Tennyson Gallery
This art gallery is completely dog friendly. Spend an afternoon browsing the Colorado artwork, and don't forget to pick up a treat for your pet at the attached Sherlock Hound Pet Deli. Tennyson Gallery often hosts social events and other gatherings.

  5. UMB Bank
No need to leave the dog in the car when making a deposit or signing up for a new account. The friendly staff is happy to fawn over your dog and give out plenty of crunchy treats. If you're doing your banking at the drive-thru, treats will be delivered carside in the tube-travelling canister.
