Flawless skin is on every woman’s list of things to conquer. A creamy complexion is what every Hollywood gal is sporting these days, it’s the must have accessory in creating a perfect and polished look. Achieving a beautiful complexion isn’t just for celebrities, every woman’s skin can and will radiate after hearing what makeup artist to the stars, Troy Jensen, said in a recent question & answer! Jensen is known for his remarkably star-studded roster of celebrity clients, including: Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Salma Hayek, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel McAdams, Catherine Deneuve, Kim Kardashian, and Megan Fox, to name a few! Jensen’s accomplished work has been seen everywhere from the red carpet, elaborate music videos, and editorial spreads in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar, Allure, and Rolling Stone magazine. Recognized for his expertise in the beauty industry, Jensen was recently appointed the official spokesperson for Q-tips, a must have for every beauty junkies’ makeup bag – Q-tips are essential for neat and clean makeup application! The secrets used by Jensen to create a flawless and beautiful complexion are simple and easy for every beauty diva to follow! When Jensen is making Kim Kardashion and Megan Fox look even more glamorous, than they already are, he uses highlighter (try Benefit, “High Beam” $24) and liquid foundation (try Clinique, “Stay-True Makeup Oil-Free Formula” $21) to create a flawless complexion…that’s it, but, application is key! First, he adds a touch of highlighter to the tops of cheekbones, down the center of the nose, the bow of the lip, and the inner part of the eye, near the tear duct. Afterwards, he applies a light foundation, or a tinted moisturizer (try, Sephora, “Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15” $18), but to finish, he dabs the inner corners of the eye and cheekbones with another swish of highlighter to really make the eyes and cheekbones, pop! Two products applied with precision are all it takes to achieve a beautiful and glowing complexion, the ultimate accessory for every season! Most important, remember to blend, said Jensen, it’s vital in creating smooth and even looking skin that looks polished, it’s his most important piece of beauty advice! Use Q-tips, he said, they are the perfect tool to help make the makeup application easier, great for touch-ups and makeup removal. He even makes his celeb clients carry Q-tips in their purse when they hit the red carpet or an event! Using highlighter, a little foundation, blending makeup well, and keeping Q-tips handy is all it takes to make skin appear camera ready, are you ready for your close-up?
