As believers, each and every one of us maintains our own set of rules when it comes to our willingness to be uncomfortable in our spiritual lives.
We often place limits on who we will minister to based on their culture, voting record, musical tastes, denominational upbringing, how they feel about Harry Potter or socio-economic standing.
We don't like being uncomfortable. It is much easier to stay within the confines of our church where our mettle is seldom truly tested beyond our own culture. It is much easier to say 'Amen, brother' to someone who you know will not reject it. It is much easier to throw money at the cross than it is to carry it.
I found this video in the Tangle.com top ten. It is a good reminder of how complacency can put its own spin on the Great Commission.
