Don’t blink, or you’ll miss Out North’s lightning-quick world premiere run of “The Black Cockerel.” Playwright Ademola Bello tells the story of young Jack Abramoff’s meetings with Angolan guerrilla leader Jonas Savimbi, the “Black Cockerel of Africa.” (That’s right, Jack Abramoff of lobbying scandal fame; at the time, he was trying to make a movie, “Red Scorpion,” in Africa and apparently needed some help from Savimbi to make things happen.) Vivian (Kinnaird) Melde directs. The show closes Saturday.
