Unfortunately, economic tough times tend to hit arts organizations early and hard.  Alaska Theatre of Youth, which provides training and performance opportunities for Anchorage's young actors, is already feeling the pinch.  Join ATY this Thursday, May 28, for a fundraiser to help the organization continue to develop local performers from the ground up.

"Save ATY" begins at 6 p.m. at 8008 Sundi Way.  At 7 p.m., the "festivities" begin, with entertainment — songs and comedy — presented by ATY kids.  The suggested donation is $50 per person or $75 per couple, payable at the door or via PayPal at ATY's website.  To RSVP or ask questions, contact Lori Benkert at 248-0560 or Kate Michaels at 243-7884.
