Appel & Frank is synonomous with great local style. They have their fingers on the pulse of the bay area fashion scene, and quarterly offer up their best finds in a free for all shopping event. 

They have recently added an eco-chic event to their repertoire and it promises to be just as spectacular as any. They will be focusing on eco-style for all ages including babies and tots, tweens, and of course adults. Featuring an array of accessories and baubles that are all sustainable, or recycled in some way, you'll be sure to walk away with something great.

Designers will include: becauseatom, Field Day Wearables, Foat Design

This adorable jumper is by Field Day Wearables, a company based out of Oakland CA that focuses on bringing sustainable fashion to us through utilizing renewable fabrics like bamboo, as well as using recycled parts. Here the fabric is organic ash bamboo, and the suspenders are re-worked recycled pieces. Jumper $93

This pullover shall is designed by Foat Design. It is made out of reclaimed wool fabric, and offers a unique addition to any SF girl's wardrobe, but at $228 it's something I would have to try not to be impulsive about.

Because I am always thinking ahead, I'm thinking this would be a great opportunity to get some unique holiday gifts for the ladies on my list, and maybe a thing or two to add to my own eco closet. 

Event will be held at the Regency Center in the Sutter Room. 1270 Sutter St. @ Van Ness. It's starts at 5:00pm and goes till 9:00 on October 23rd.

Cost: 2 for $10 each pre-sale and $15 at the door.
