For the Indiana Fever, it has always been about Tamika Catchings. She has been the face of the franchise since she entered the league in 2001 and she has always been the team's leader.

Some compared her to Reggie Miller, Indianapolis' hero for so many years with the Pacers, but Catchings simply hasn't been the same scorer since her return from injury last year.

Her average isn't down that much -- 14.6 ppg this season compared to 19.7 in her best year (2003) -- but it is clear that she is no longer Indiana's best scorer.

Katie Douglas is the new No. 1.

Catchings is still doing some great things and is still a leader on the team, but Douglas has become Indiana's top scorer and is playing some of the best basketball of her career. The combination of the two has been lethal so far this season.

The Fever's 6-2 record is the best in the Eastern Conference and Indiana has a significant shot at a title this year. Whether or not Douglas, Catchings, and Co. will win or not will depend on the production of the two players at the top.

Indiana will play host to the Connecticut Sun tomorrow night at Conseco Fieldhouse, a team that has been hot of late. Connecticut enters the contest with a 4-3 record overall, but it has won its last three games, all three by double-figures.
