For the 4th of July fruit pizza recipe using fruit from the Denver garden, you will need a prepared graham cracker crust. Make one yourself by crushing graham crackers and adding butter until the consistency holds it's shape. Press the mixture onto a pizza pan. Cover the bottom of the pan.

The next item you will need for the 4th of July fruit pizza recipe is whipped strawberry flavored cream cheese. Eight ounces is plenty for this 4th of July recipe. Spread the cream cheese evenly over the crust. If crust is too crumbly, refrigerate for about an hour.

The next item you will need is fresh fruit from the Denver garden. I like to use berries for my 4th of July fruit pizza recipe. The berries lend a red and blue touch to the pink strawberry cream cheese. Practice arranging the berries on a plate if you are making a pattern with them.

I like to make a flag pattern for my 4th of July fruit pizza. Use raspberries or strawberries in a row for the red stripes. Blueberries from the Denver garden make the best stars but blackberries will do in a pinch. The white portion is where the light pink cream cheese shows through.

Just because it's the 4th of July, doesn't mean your fruit pizza recipe has to be done in red, white and blue. Pretty green kiwi slices with berry dots in the middle make a great 4th of July fruit pizza recipe. Changing the flavor of cream cheese or using other fruits from the Denver garden works well also.

Try using plain cream cheese for the 4th of July fruit pizza recipe. Mix in crushed pineapple to make it interesting. Dot the top of the fruit pizza with maraschino cherries and pineapple rings for a tropical look and taste. Sprinkle with toasted coconut. These fruits are likely not found in the Denver garden, but they are delicious!

Another variation on the 4th of July fruit pizza recipe uses sliced fresh Colorado peaches from the Denver garden. Arrange the peaches to make a sun in the center of the fruit pizza. Now use more peach slices to expand the rays of the sun outward until the whole pizza is covered. Create your own version of the 4th of July fruit pizza recipe using your favorite fruits from the Denver garden.
