Summer in the City by Cutiemus

It's summer, it's hot, and the financial forecast is bleak. Luckily, summer is a time of minimal clothing, which can equate to less money if you do it right. A dress is a logical choice, not only for the wearability, but for the ease on your wallet. The following dresses are all $100 or under, but definitely don't look the part.

This dress should be in your closet this summer. The Darlene Denim Dress by Dollhouse is like a little black dress, only better suited for summer days. The dark denim is neutral enough to wear to a summer picnic or it can be dressed up for cocktails, and everything in between. The price can't be beat, and at less than $40 you'll have plenty of cash left for some great jewelry or a pair of wedges. If you're looking to bare a little more skin, add the Darlene Layered Dress and giddy up on the cowgirl trend without having to rob a bank. Cutiemus has the Summer in the City Dress, a fantastic vintage inspired piece at an unbelievable price.

Did you think dressing like Kate Hudson, Lauren Conrad, Christina Aguilera, or Hayden Panetierre was out of your price range? Think again. Gypsy05 has the Organic Maxi Dress, a celebrity favorite featured in magazines such as People and Life & Style. This dress is also eco-friendly as it is made in solar powered factories. If you want the look for less, Arden B has the Tie Dye Tube Maxi Dress on sale for $38! Throw in $5 shipping and you'll be saving a ton while scoring a hot trend.

If you love prints, the Printed Stretch Sateen Dress by Windsor might be right up your alley. Another chic choice is the Brown Peacock Print Dress.  Don't be afraid of color or patterns this summer, as both are huge and can be very figure friendly.

With the long Florida summers, these dresses are even more of a bargain as they can be worn for almost half the year. Summer is a great time to experiment, so don't be afraid to change up your look!
