Repower America brainstorming session (odemagazine.com).

Repower America, in conjunction with similar events across the country, is holding a meeting in the Valley of the Sun, which is open to the general public this week.

This town hall meeting will feature discussion on how clean energy legislation would:

Jumpstart our economy and create millions of jobs;
• Help end our dependence on foreign oil;
• Reduce the threat of harmful pollution;
• Reward innovation and job creation; and
• Help solve the climate crisis.

In specific, this round table discussion will be focused on clean energy legislation in the state of Arizona, and how members can get involved to support this agenda in the weeks ahead. It will cover renewable energy elements of the U.S. economic stimulus package and the upcoming American clean energy bill that is designed to develop energy independence from foreign oil.

This event will be held on Wedesday, June 10 from 12- 1pm at the Burton Barr Phoenix Public Library, Lecture Hall located at 1221 N. Central Ave in Phoenix, AZ 85004.  For more information and how to sign-up, check out this website at Repower America Arizona meeting.
