Microsoft Zune HD

The Zune HD has received a lot of attention and a lot of favorable responses from those who have seen it or even just heard about it. It's high-quality OLED screen along with the HD video support and HD radio receiver are just a few of the things that give it an edge on the iPod Touch.

Until now, we still didn't know about the capacity, prices, or release date. Thanks to a Gizmodo tipster at Best Buy, we now have a few more details.

According to the Best Buy inventory system, there will be a 16 GB model that will sell for $220 and a 32 GB model priced at $290. The color options appear to be black and silver.

We also have a release date: September 8th. Just in time for school and plenty of time before the holidays. They may even release a 64 GB model for Christmas. Who knows?

For now, I'm sure there will be plenty of people clamoring to get this new device. We'll have to see what Apple does to up it's ante with their iPod line.

Check out the video below to see how the HD TV video playback works using the Zune HD. You can also see a demonstration the Zune HD itself.
