In addition to having a good profile for on-line dating, your photos are very important. As the saying goes a picture is worth a thousand words.
1. Include a photo in your profile.Studies show that profiles with pictures receive a significant more activity then those without so rule number one is to be sure that your profile includes a photo. Men and women are visual so including a pic is important. Also after to talking with hundreds of singles, all say that a profile without a picture creates doubt. People wonder what they have to hide. Are they married? Bottom line is if you want success on-line you need to include photos.
2. Its more then just a pretty face. So many on-line daters think they need a glamor shot to get noticed but that is not the case. Should you try to look your best? Sure. But even more important is what is going on inside your head. Make sure you are feeling good. Have a friend take your pictures so you're relaxed. Laugh, joke, make funny noises. Anything that will put you into your natural state. In this state your personality will shine through your eyes and this is very attractive.
3. Face and body. Include pictures that show your face but also your body. Just as with no picture, when you only share head-shots people begin to think you may be hiding something. So show a full length picture as well. If you're not in perfect shape that is ok. You are in charge of how the photo is taken so where flattering clothing and stand in flattering positions. Ask your friends for honest feedback.
4. More of you and less of your group. Some people think they need to show pictures with friends to show they have friends but this is really not necessary. Same thing with big landscapes with small shots of you. Focus on you rather then your surroundings or your friends.
5. Your photo will speak to who you are. Therefore be careful of overly revealing photos. Too sexy is great if you're looking for sex but if you're looking for a relationship ladies then watch the cleavage.
6. Holidays are a great time for photos. This time of year is perfect for photos. You're probably getting dressed up more frequently and spending time with family and friends who make the perfect photographers. Take advantage of the opportunity and have a fun photo shoot at your next party.
