This Saturday, November 7th, San Jose Animal Care Center hosts a Home for the Holidays adopt-a-thon. From 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., the public is invited to join the party and meet a potential new fur baby.

Adopters this day will receive special rates on Staff Favorites, Extended Stay Pets, and Senior Pets. All new adopters will also receive a bag of food and an adoption kit filled with information about bringing their new pet home. Additionally, adopters will receive a goody bag full of toys and treats, coupons to local pet stores, a pet portrait, and a chance to win raffle prizes.

Demonstrations and contests are scheduled to take place throughout the day. There will also be an activity area for children.

Visitors are also encouraged to stop by the Guardian Angel table. The San Jose Animal Care Center’s Guardian Angel Program provides medical treatment for the homeless animals that arrive at the center. Those who join the program can help a deserving animal and will also receive a special gift for themselves.
