Protect your PC's from malware, trojans, and spyware
Telecommuters often have access to confidential information so it’s important that we keep our computer systems clean. Client information, W9 form’s, tax documents, and other things really don’t need to get into the hands of unscrupulous people.
I recently mentioned how my PC is having a bad malware issue so I am switching to a Mac. I wasn’t joking, and as soon as I decide if I really want a Macbook Air, or if I should just save myself some hassle and get a Macbook I’ll be making my purchase. But for now, I’ll be sticking to the two Macs that are in my house as well as trying to clean up my PC. I still have hope that the PC can be fixed.
Though my malware situation is extremely rare, it would be wise of you to make sure you have the most up-to-date malware prevention software. An antivirus isn’t enough; you need to have spyware tools as well.
