Tomorrow is a pretty special day here in the United States, a time to celebrate and reflect on the country’s past with fireworks and revelry.
So instead of talking about the usual, let’s do something a little different in honor of the 4th of July.
What do Americans of age generally do on the 4th?
Drink.
What is a modern staple of drinking?
Drinking games.
What are awesome to use and write about?
Gadgets.
So, in tribute to tomorrow’s patriotism, take a look at this piece of Americana that combines all three and should ring in the 4th’s festivities with a bang.
The folks over at Foolish Gadgets generally talk about some pretty, fun, off-the-wall gadgetry. This is no exception.
Introducing Enigma, the Battleship Bar Game.
It is designed by a Brazilian product design student who has a background in the drinking industry, so his drinking game credibility should not be questioned.
Basically, from the picture, it looks like Battleship with the shot glasses acting like the pegs you tack on to your ships which is both a recipe for fun and disaster. Since there are no rules or anything posted, you have to figure it’s just the board game with a different design.
Anyway, not a big announcement or a new release or really anything that resembles the norm around here but it is easily just as fun.
Enjoy the 4th, celebrate this wonderful country, be safe, and if you own one of these bad boys (or if you have the original Battleship laying around) sink some Battleships.
