Google has apparently gone to great lengths to advertise the Motorola Droid.
Google has apparently gone to great lengths to advertise the Motorola Droid.
Google.

Seriously, they are pulling out all the stops for the Motorola Droid.

As previously mentioned today, the day that the Droid and HTC’s Droid Eris were released, Verizon and Verizon undertook a gigantic ad campaign trying to steer people to the Droid. And while it’s too early to tell if they were successful, it appears that Google has hopped on board the advertising campaign on release day.

Yes, they have a Droid ad on the Google home page, which is a complete rarity and is another testament on how much effort they have put into hyping this thing.

What better place than the Google homepage, maybe the most sought after advertising place on the internet?

Exactly, there is none.

We’ll see what kind of benefit it has on sales, if any, in the coming weeks.
