It’s becoming difficult to get any productive work done because there’s so much news of new technology that one needs to read.

In my November 4th Huliq.com article “New Features Announced for Twitter, Google and Amazon” I described three new features – one from each of these three companies – all announced in the last few days.

This doesn’t include the new offerings at Getglue.com, which I’m still trying to absorb, or reading the November 9th New Yorker “Talk of the Town” piece headlined “Out to Lunch” by Nick Paumgarten that talks about our “inattentional blindness.” He recounts this story:

“In August, a burglar in West Virginia broke into a house and stole some diamonds, but before fleeing the scene he decided to check his Facebook page. He forgot to log off. The victim discovered it on her computer when she got home.”

And I didn’t want to miss reading the November 4th Wall Street Journal article “The Greatest Generation (of Networkers)” by Jeffrey Zaslow that reports:

“A 17-year-old boy, caught sending text messages in class, was recently sent to the vice principal's office at Millwood High School in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

“The vice principal, Steve Gallagher, told the boy he needed to focus on the teacher, not his cellphone. The boy listened politely and nodded, and that's when Mr. Gallagher noticed the student's fingers moving on his lap. He was texting while being reprimanded for texting.”

Then I did a Google profile for my company Miller Mosaic, LLC (I already had a Google profile for myself) thanks to help from Tad Miller, account director at Search Mojo, after an exchange of questions and answers on Twitter. (He’s @Jstatad.) He explained that, if you have a personal Google profile, you just need to use a different email address to set up a company Google profile, and it doesn’t need to be a gmail address.

And what new Internet business/marketing features will be announced today by various online sites? Your guess is as good as mine.
