Online shopping?  Here are three offerings from novelty designers that might persuade you to give up that credit card number.

Are they toys, pillows, or just terrifying?  The plush, stuffed slaughterhouse cuts available from Sweet Meats may never end up on Urban Outfitter shelves, but their loud pinks and reds and bizarre food-politics subtext make great college dorm decor.  Lauren Venell, a San Francisco product designer with butchers on both sides of her family, produces them in three styles: t-bone steak, pork chop, and hambone.  Use her pillows to spruce up a doghouse, rid your home of vegans, or add a little extra beef to the bedroom.  Also great for kids' birthday gifts: add another stuffed animal and name them Before and After.

If you're the type that enjoys constant scrutiny of your chestal area, the "Being Bill Murray" T-shirt at Dutch Southern is bound to draw eyes.  Three decades of Murray characters fraternize on the detail-heavy print, from Dr. Peter Venkmen ("Ghostbusters") to Steve Zissou (of "Life Aquatic" fame.)  Murrayphiles abound in this great nation to such a degree that the online shop has had difficulty keeping them in stock, but check back for availability and earn the reward of a T-shirt that references over a dozen classic films ("Malkovich" included, if your oglers are sharp enough to pick it up) in one fell swoop.

According to online design shop Molla Space, these shower-friendly iPod speakers are the "hottest gift item in Japan."  Now you can impress your friends with your knowledge of international trends (the friends you regularly shower with, at least) plus belt out "Single Ladies" in the privacy of your own bathroom.  Forged from water-resistant polycarbonate, these battery-operated, tear-drop-shaped speakers house iPod Nanos, Shuffles, and any other mp3 player of comparable size.
