Brangelina work the SAG red carpet: Great PR for fans

Brangelina are back! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie walked the 2009 SAG Red Carpet like nobody's business!  Walking, waving, smiling, laughing and interviewing even giving the "dissed" network e! two individual interviews with Brad and Angelina each. What a thrill for fans (myself included) to have these movie stars swtlch course and be so accessible after the press and the fans voiced their disappointment at the Ryan Seacrest diss on  the Golden Globes Red Carpet. Brangelina showed they listen, care and will respond when fans are involved.  Great damage control!

Both nominated for Screen Actor's Guild (SAG) awards, Brad Pitt for Best Actor in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Angelina Jolie for Best Actress in Changeling, the un-married couple are considered by most to be the most glamorous, gorgous and wow Hollywood couple since the likes of Liz and Dick, Gable and Lombard or Wagner and Wood.

But what they have done on the 2009 SAG Red Carpet isn't about beauty on the outside but smarts on the inside. They made it clear to everyone in the stands and the millions watching on TV that they know their success is the result of big box office sales paid for by the people who go to their movies. Their Red Carpet enthusiasm was their thanks to us for our appreciation and value of their talents on-screen as well as their public image off-screen.    

Brangelina have given us all a great lesson in PR -- when you make a mistake  -- fix it and fast!
