(®20th Century Fox)

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again, right?

We all know what a box office disappointment Jennifer's Body was (it still hasn't earned back its paltry $16M budget) even with its can't-miss formula (Megan Fox! Diablo Cody! High school! Blood! Gore! More Megan Fox!)

So, as 20th Century Fox gears up for the overseas release November 4th, the marketing department has decided to take a...well... different route with the preview poster.

Compare the UK version (right) with either of the two US versions (here and here).

Watch as cute little Megan Fox struts happily through the high school halls! Uh-oh, looks like something's bothering nerdy outsider Amanda Seyfried! And, hey, is that Duckie belting out a peppy dance number?

And the critics call it 'Smart', 'Sexy', 'Sassy', and 'Twisted'! Not exactly the words you'd expect to find on a poster for a (on paper) horror movie.

"Hold up a tic, luv-- I thought this was some really bad horror flick from the States... But this looks grand! Grab your brolly! We'll nosh on some bangers and mash before the theatre! Brilliant!"

Please. It's one thing to re-brand. It's a whole 'nother thing to...
