Who you are IN CHRIST - Part 1

1. You are a fellow citizen with the saints of the household of God - Ephesians 2:19 -  Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household,

2. You are born again.  I Peter 1:23 - For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

3. You are a joint heir with Christ - Romans 8:17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

4. You are a king and a priest unto God - Revelation 1:6 - and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

5. You are a new creature – 2Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

6. You are a partaker of his divine nature - I Peter 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you,”

7. You are a shielded  one– I Peter 1:5 – “ who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.”

8. You are a saint - Romans 1:7 - To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:  Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

9. You are a soldier -  2Timothy 2:3 Endure hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.

10. You are above only and not beneath - Deuteronomy 28:13b - The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.
