There has been a lot of argument on the validity of healthcare coverage for all people. I agree with the precept that we as people should take care of people. That seems right and is even Judeo-Christian biblically sound. What is not being discussed but rather deflected at every raising of the question is how are we paying for this? Proponents like... Read More to point to Europe and elsewhere as examples of socialized heathcare. They never point out the cost ... 40-50% of income. So, if you are struggling now it will get worse for you. Economists should be screaming about now ... should this and other supporting bills get passed [they are coming] then the US economy will make a torrential spiral into the septic tank of global morass - one with the masses, no one on top leading ... unless you are China then Kung Fu Tse wins again.
Side note: on the argument of healthcare for all in sanctity of life ... that only applies if you are post-natal, not pre-natal. If you are pre-natal you are parasitic tissue on a host and not a prenatal human. The politicians who support abortion are allowing the wholesale extinguishing of their next generation of taxable revenue generators. What are they thinking? Avarice feeds the moment. It does not feed the future.
