These guys are waiting for you. (Funcom)

Although Age of Conan is the butt of jokes in the MMO world, there's something going on at Funcom, to not only entice players to come back, but to suggest an expansion may be in AoC's future.

In the wake of a new patch that supposedly has fixed a lot of problems with the game (just don't compare it to NGE), AoC is offering a free two week re-evaluation for former players. Until July 22nd, you can reactivate your account and receive two weeks free play time to check out the changes that Funcom has made.

However, if you were planning on checking it out in the first place, don't get excited - while honoring the reactivation of former players, new player trials are disabled.

And while you chew on that, consider this: according to Eurogamer, Age of Conan will be announcing an expansion at GamesCom in August. If that isn't tenacity and faith in your product, I don't know what is.
