For those of you looking for a different kind of MMO, Darkfall is launching for North America on July 13th. That's right, you won't have to sneak on the European servers anymore.

Darkfall is an indie MMO, that brings back a little memory of Ultima Online - skill based systems, and if you die, your gear remains on your corpse for anyone to loot. Ahh, memories of Shame PK runs. . . any way, Darkfall uses a first person action based platform, focused heavily from what I hear on PvP, and barely giving attention to your typical skill-spamming, PvE-raiding, loot-dropping systems of yore.

Darkfall also features a massive game world, six races, and freedom from a typical class system.

Since the news about Darkfall has drawn a lot of attention, and the game itself has drawn a lot of heat since its launch earlier this year, it's no surprise that as of this writing, their main website is down - if you want more detailed information about the game, here's the Wiki.
