Final Fantasy XI/Square Enix

Square Enix has released its version update for Final Fantasy XI, including the Shantotto Ascension pack, today.

The patch includes the following updates:

• "A Shantotto Ascension—The Legend Torn, Her Empire Born" now playable.
• New quests in the Wings of the Goddess areas have been added.
• Moblin Maze Mongers has undergone several changes, including a new voucher and new rewards.
• The Chocobo Circuit has had new rewards added and a new schedule implemented.
• A new wedding system has been added.
• "Inside the Belly" quest now allows new types of fish to be turned in.
• Some gates in the The Eldieme Necropolis are now set to be open at all times.
• Many new Notorious Monsters have been added worldwide.
• Velocity Shot, Unlimited Shot, and Camouflage have changed for Rangers.
• Summoners now have the Avatar's Favor ability.
• Beastmasters now have a special "ready" command.
• Modus Veritas has changed for scholars.
• New terms have been added to the auto-translate dictionary.
• A new chat filter has been added that blocks tell/shout messages containing words which are deemed to be offensive or inappropriate.

For the English version, Synergy and Evolith haven't yet been added - they are scheduled to be added sometime in mid-November.
