Growing demand for cheaper homes
Housing data released in October indicated that Denver had 5.7 months of housing inventory available according to the Denver Post. That figure, however, is due in large part to the large number of upper end homes on the market. There were 31 months of inventory for $1 million plus homes, whole only a 2.7 month inventory for homes under $100,000. I think demand is growing for lower priced homes.
Investors are jumping in, and multiple offers are not uncommon on lower end properties. That is especially true for properties under $250,000 that are in good locations and in great condition. First-time home buyers need to be on their toes and willing to move quickly when they find a home they want. CLICK HERE to Search for Homes in Metro Denver
