My apologies to Fired Up, Nip/Tuck, and Beverly Hills 90210's AnnaLynne McCord for my reference that she transported her cat, Mouse, in an unsafe manner in this article. 90210insiders.com shows an image of Ms McCord carrying Mouse and the carrier in which Mouse is likely transported. Other images on thedailyfix.com show Ms McCord on a shopping trip while holding Mouse with a leash attached to his collar and the same carrier over her shoulder.

Mouse is certainly a very lucky cat, as Ms McCord obviously shows her love and affection. Mouse is also fortunate as most cats do not have the opportunity to go to work with their owner. Many cats never leave their home and are deficient in activity or interactive stimulation. The majority of these cats gain weight and become overweight or obese. Many commonly seen feline health issues, such as constipation, feline lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD), osteoarthritis, and diabetes mellitus develop exclusively as a result of a cat’s overweight or obese body condition. As Mouse gets to travel and appears to receive behaviorally enriching stimulation, he hopefully will not excessively gain weight and subsequently suffer similar health issues.

For information on feline obesity, see:

AnnaLynne McCord certainly appears confident in carrying and maintaining control of Mouse. When faced with a stressor, Mouse may react instinctually and attempt to escape. Mouse could be injured or cause physical harm to Ms McCord (i.e. clawing at her face or other exposed body parts). I wish Ms McCord would transport Mouse inside the carrier to avoid circumstances that are potential injurious to Mouse or herself.
