This Friday, June 12,  several recent immigrants to Maine will come together and share their often amazing personal stories.  The event will take place at Union Church in Biddeford Pool at 7:30 pm.

What brought these people here? Why did they choose to make Maine their new home? How have they integrated into American society? How have they been able to keep their own culture and traditions alive?  These are just a few questions that are sure to be addressed.

The speakers have all been featured in the recent book "New Mainers: Portraits of Our Immigrant Neighbors", and copies will be available for purchase and signings.

Admission is free, but a donation is appreciated.

Fore more information call 284-1273.  Union Church is located at 3 Stonecliff Road in Biddeford Pool.
