Peapod by Stop & Shop just recently extended its home grocery delivery service to Shelter Island, in addition to the Hamptons and North Fork. Shopping online at Peapod is easy and convenient.

Shoppers can select from a wide variety of specials offered at very low prices. In addition, Peapod has its own brand of organic products known as Nature's Promise, which includes meat, fresh produce and canned goods.

Peopod's nearest Stop &Shop store is in Riverhead. The small delivery fee is worth the savings in gas and time. In addition, there are many creative ways to shop and save money using Peapod. It is easier to stick to a budget when shopping online.

Delivery fees range from $6.95 to $9.95 and up. There is a higher fee for delivery to Shelter Island. Shoppers can select a delivery time and date from a wide variety of options. Some delivery times result in a lower fee.

FreshDirect, which is not affiliated with Peapod, only delivers to South Fork neighborhoods between Westhampton Beach and Amagansett just for the summer. They also have a line of organic products, including organic wine, in addition to prepared meals and kosher foods.
