The Staller Center at Stony Brook University brings world-class performances to it's thousand-seat, state-of-the-art theater. They just announced their fall 2009 - winter 2010 season and now is the time to order tickets.Tickets range in price from $17 to $42. Order now for all the shows you wish to see. The more shows you order the better seats you are given. Discounts are available if you order tickets for more than four shows.

A sampling of performances include: Luna Negra Dance Theatre on October 24th, a blend of Cuban and modern dance with Grammy award winners Tutle Island Quartet and legendary composer and clarinetist Paquite D'Rivera playing music live on stage. Circo Aereo - "Espresso" performs on November 13th, "theater without words" from Finland on their first U.S. tour after receiving critical acclaim throughout Europe.

Joan Osborne will perform Sunday November 15th, The Emerson String Quartet on December 3rd, The Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour on February 14th and the Martha Graham Dance Company on February 20th. Several unique performances for kids are scheduled as well, along with many other world-class performers. Call 631-632-2787 for the brochure.

Stony Brook is located west of the East End of Long Island, about a 45 minute drive from Riverhead (heading west.)
