Turns out even vampires dress up for Halloween.
Twilight stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz, better known to fans of Stephenie Meyer’s hit series as Alice and Emmet Cullen, and “True Blood’s” Rutina Wesley and Sam Trammell (Tara Mae Thornton and Sam Merlotte on the hit HBO series, respectively) celebrated Veuve Clicquot’s Yelloween at Tao and Lavo Halloween night. Greene transformed into a peacock while Lutz played the role of superhero sidekick, channeling Robin. Wesley donned a pirate costume and Trammell waved his wand as a Nordic wizard.
After kicking off the Yelloween celebration with a joint red carpet, Greene and Lutz headed to Tao at The Venetian where a group of friends, including Brittany Snow dressed as Carmen Sandiego, were waiting, while Wesley and Trammell made their way to Lavo. Following a feast of Asian specialties accompanied by Veuve Clicquot champagne in the private dining room, the group journeyed to a skybox in the nightclub. Twilight fans gathered below to catch a glimpse of the pair as DJ Vice announced their arrival to the packed club. Lutz got on the mic, shouting to the crowd, “This is the place to be tonight,” while Greene danced around the skybox.
Over at Lavo inside The Palazzo, the “True Blood” costars dined with friends in the Italian eatery’s private dining room before heading up to host in the nightclub where they held court from a VIP table on the dance floor. Trammell waved his wand and declared, “I hereby crown this the best Halloween party in Las Vegas,” and Las Vegas native Wesley danced on the banquette and gave shout outs to her hometown crowd. Around 3 a.m., Trammell headed to Tao via the Tao /Lavo Escalade. Once there he took a dance floor table as DJ Vice welcomed him with a shout out. Throughout the night, celebs at both venues sipped Veuve Clicquot champagne as they danced the night away.
Earlier in the day, Wesley was spotted with Sorority Row’s Briana Evigan soaking up some rays during the last day of the season at Tao Beach. Meanwhile, Greene enjoyed the afternoon at Lagasse's Stadium at The Palazzo. Taking in the Florida Gators game in a luxury box, Greene and friends enjoyed delicious Emeril Lagasse cuisine such as nachos, chili cheese fries, pizza, artichoke dip and shake 'n cookies. The Twilight star was all smiles surrounded by friends as they laughed, joked and enjoyed one another's company in the VIP room complete with pool table, video games, plush couches and a giant flat screen TV.
