Saturday afternoon, I attended No More Homeless Pets in Utah's 14th annual "Strut your Mutt" charity event, both as The Salt Lake Large Dogs Examiner and a volunteer. I found it to be a very entertaining event, as well as a wonderful opportunity for networking among business owners and animal lovers. I will be posting several articles, focusing on various aspects of the day, over the next few weeks.
Today, I chose to introduce my Salt Lake City readers to the fun, convenient and charismatic grooming techniques of "Cruzin' for a Groomin'," a mobile grooming facility owned and operated by Jennifer Bright.
The salon is fully self-contained and will come to your home, where Jennifer can usually have your pet's grooming completed within an hour. She uses no cages, and many clients find this to be a luxury compared to typical groomers, who sometimes leave pets in cages for hours at a time, causing the animals a great deal of undue stress.
Prices vary, according to the size of your pet, and what type of work you'd like done. The services include: coloring and nail polishing, in addition to more conventional grooming packages. Jennifer happily and gently services dogs of all sizes and varieties, as well as cats.
Thank you for reading, and if you enjoyed this article, please look for some of my previous installments about adoption agencies, or choosing an ideal breed for your family, and please check in later this week for more coverage of the "Strut your Mutt" event. Thanks again for stopping by!
