No more Homeless Pets in Utah, a non-profit adoption agency that strives to end the euthanasia of all homeless pets state-wide, is holding their biggest annual fundraiser on Saturday, May 30th. Registration begins at 8:00a.m., and the dogs and their owners will "strut" at 9:15 a.m. The costs for this wonderful cause are as follows: $35.00 for singles, and $60.00 for couples. However, if you are able to register before May 29th, the contribution is reduced to $30.00 for a single walker or $50.00 per couple. Encourage as many of your four-legged friends and their owners as possible to attend! This is a fun-filled Saturday afternoon event, and it's for a very worthwhile cause.

The course will consist of a stroll which is approximately 1.5 miles long, as well as many other attractions, such as: the fly-ball, agility, and Frisbee performances, along with the "Best Trick" and "Pet/Owner Look-Alike" contests. There will also be prizes awarded for those animal lovers who collect the largest total donations.

The "Strut Your Mutt" event will take place at Sugar House Park, located on 2100 South at 1300 East in Salt Lake City. There are still plenty of openings for volunteers, to help in many various ways, to insure that the event runs smoothly. I would encourage anyone who is an animal lover to help in any way you can. No More Homeless Pets in Utah has been a reputable organization for many years in our community, and has helped to find loving homes for innumerable strays in Utah. They are also adamant about another cause, which is finding humane alternatives for feral cats. Please come out to enjoy the early summer festivities with your favorite four-legged friends!
