PS3 finally gets on board with Netflix
PS3 finally gets on board with Netflix

If it's one thing you can say about Sony, it's that they're learning a lot from their competition.  In recent years, Sony has been accused of "ripping-off" ideas from other companies, such as creating their own Trophy system modeled after the 360's Achievement system.  The latest fuel for the fire is that Sony has just announced that their Netflix streaming service is up and running, allowing users to download movies to their PS3 hard drives via the streaming disc; something that the 360 has had for years now.

But at this point, does anyone really care?  I applaud Sony for learning from their mistakes and working to improve the PS3 experience, but it does seem like too little too late.  And with Microsoft's announcement that the 360 will soon be compatable with Facebook and Twitter, I'm sure that Sony will also be working on said functionality for the PS3... of course it'll probably take a year or two before they do.
