Toning the arms and upper body will make those summer shirts pop. It doesn't take much to get arms like Michelle Obama and Madonna. In fact, just a few simple exercises added to your strength training routine and you're on your way to sexy summer arms. Here's a few simple exercises to tone the upper body:
Remember to start with a light weight or resistance and progress to a heavier weight. Do these exercises 3 times per week, taking a day of rest in between strength training sessions. Start with 1 set of 12-15 repetitions or less if the muscles fatigue before. Increase to 2 sets after 1-2 weeks and then to 3 sets after another 1-2 weeks. Increase the weight after 3 sets can be done comfortably.
A few simple exercises 3 times per week will have your upper body toned and pumped up for summer.
