Face off week. One person from the black team is put up against a person from the blue team in the weigh in. The person who loses the most weight wins and earns a point for their team. The losing team has to vote a team member off.
To earn the advantages in this game, the teams must win challenges. In the pop challenge, the blue team won yet again earning the advantage of picking the face off opponents. The black team has never won a challenge until tonight when they won the baseball toss and gained a 2 pound advantage at the weigh in.
The second half brought face offs with the trainers. Abby faced off with Jillian confronting her past of losing her family and figuring out how to live and not just exist. While Amanda faced off with Jillian about walking out of the gym on her last workout. Bob challenged Allen to a mind over matter challenge of jumping onto a 3 foot stool and Allen proved that he had the power to overcome and jumped onto it with no problem.
At the weigh in, the blue team won the first weigh in giving the black team a bleak start to the face off. It looked like the blue team was going to sweep the challenge until Danny pulled a double digit losing 12 pounds giving the black team a much needed point. That is the only point that the black team would gain leaving them with decision of who to send home. Although the face off had been won, there was one more feat; did Rudy break the record by losing 100 pounds in 7 weeks? Indeed he did, losing 14 pounds.
The black team faced the difficult decision of who to send home. Abby made it easy asking for her team to send her home. Although the team struggled with this decision and wondered if Abby was really ready to go home, they honored her wish and sent her home. After realizing how to live again Abby is home and living rather than existing.
