Ps 116:17 I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the LORD.
While serving a church in Michigan in the 1980’s I did some substituting in a High School. In one class, the students changed the seating pattern and I did not know who was who. That hour was completely wasted, because I had no control over students that I could not identify.
God says that we are welcome to call him by name. More than anything, God wants us to know who he really is.
