Lord, thank you for touching me for ministry.
May this verse, enrich, inspire and encourage you on November 5, 2009, my Friend.
1Sa 10:26 Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched.
Have you ever been moved to go over to a stranger and offer help of any kind? Did you find your offer was accepted or refused? Both you and the stranger were taking a chance. In both cases there was a fear of the unknown. The stranger was worried as to your motive for offering help. You were worried as to whether you could meet the need that would be presented.
By the way, one of the flavors of the word valiant is to be able to do something. I believe that when God touches us for ministry to another, we will have what is necessary to make life a bit better for another.
Friend, when God touches us, we must be thankful for the opportunity to show the love and mercy of God.
Until tomorrow,
Pastor Terry
